Sharmin Joha Shoshi started her career as a film actress. She debuted in Hazar Bochor Dhore, which is based on famous novelist and filmmaker Johir Raihan’s popular novel “Hazar Bochor Dhore.” The film was directed by Dhallywood’s legendary actress turned director Kohinur Akhtar Shuchonda. Hazar Bochor Dhore was highly appreciated by film critics and viewers, and won numerous awards. Sharmin soon became busy with TV media. Shoshi says, “I don’t believe in quantity, quality is my USP. I prefer to choose a single-episode drama rather than working in a mega serial, if the script suits me better.” Shoshi also added that she never says yes to any project for money. She works in productions which are rich in meaningful content and story line. Along with taking her acting career to the next level.
